An X user has revealed that the remains of his friend who reportedly d!ed in the tragic fire outbreak in Lagos State, were never recovered.

 

At least eight people were confirmed d3ad in the fire incident, which occurred on 24 December 2025 at the 22-storey Great Nigeria Insurance House on Lagos Island.<br><br><br>

 

He disclosed this after the family of two victims of the fire incident announced their burial arrangement. 

 

“I lost a friend in that incident, and sadly her remains weren't found,” he wrote.
