Even with my staff, I always say, “Tell me the truth.” You are human, you will make mistakes. But if you hide it, you make it worse.

Confession gives me a chance to help. Secrecy robs me of that chance. Then, when the problem comes out, I have to deal with double pain—the mistake and the betrayal.<br><br><br>

Honesty makes forgiveness possible. Lies make healing harder. That’s why I tell everyone around me—honor me with the truth, no matter how bad it looks.

It is better to face the anger of truth than the poison of deceit.
