During a vacation in the United States, Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali encountered a taxi driver he had previously met at the airport.

The driver had reportedly lost his belongings due to a robbery and was living without stable housing.<br><br><br>

In response, Nwabali went to a car dealership, purchased a new taxi for him, and arranged accommodation.

The driver, expressing gratitude, offered free rides to Nigerians for life, but Nwabali declined the offer, stating it was unnecessary.
