The family of Mrs. Patience Ngozi Adiele is grieving after she passed away onboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Abuja to the United States.

According to her daughter, Adiele Jacqueline, the 70-year-old woman had returned to Nigeria for the holidays and to celebrate her milestone birthday.<br><br><br>

Mrs. Adiele boarded flights ET950 and ET500 with Ethiopian Airlines on January 19, 2026, but sadly didn’t make it to her destination alive. Her family confirmed she died onboard the aircraft on January 20, 2026.

Jacqueline has expressed concerns over the lack of clarity from the airline regarding the circumstances of her mother’s death.<br><br><br> The family is now calling on fellow passengers from the flight to come forward with any information that could help shed light on what happened. They seek transparency and justice during this difficult situation.
