Authorities in Peru have identified the dismembered remains of 19-year-old Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Piña, a Venezuelan TikTok influencer known online as “China Baby,” whose body parts were discovered earlier this month at a water-treatment facility in Lima.
Workers at the facility made the gruesome discovery on June 9 while conducting a routine inspection of a river filtration grid, according to multiple local media outlets.
Forensic teams were able to confirm the identity of the victim through her distinctive tattoos, including one reading "Paula Sophia" on her back, Panamericana reported.

Recovery efforts were complicated by the condition and dispersal of the remains. Authorities confirmed that several parts of the teenager’s body, including her head, arms, and one leg, are still missing.
Originally from Venezuela, Fabiola relocated to Peru as a minor to live with her then-boyfriend, Meiner Jimenez Castillo.
Castillo died by suicide in 2022, and his family reportedly blamed Fabiola for his death, according to La República.
The case is being treated as a possible homicide linked to human trafficking, though investigators have not identified any suspects.
The Peruvian police have yet to make an official statement on the suspected motive or possible leads in the case.
As authorities continue to look into the circumstances surrounding her death, fans and followers throughout Latin America are expressing their condolences for Fabiola, who had amassed a sizable following on TikTok under the moniker “China Baby.

May her soul rest in Peace.
