Read here: CONGRATULATIONS! 👏 Army 2nd Lt. Gabrielle Cole is now a black hawk helicopter pilot! She has always worked hard and been focused on her goals. She gained two master's degrees — one in Physics from the University of Chicago and one in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago.


After that, she got a job as a systems engineer at a company called Northrop Grumman Corp. But after a while, Gabrielle felt like her job was getting too routine, and she wanted something more exciting. So, she decided to join the Illinois National Guard and train to become a pilot.


This past March, after 15 months of flight school, her dream finally came true. At first, Gabrielle joined as a Black Hawk repairer to see what it was like. She had only seen Black Hawks on TV before. While working on the Black Hawk, a captain asked her what she was doing.
