Sad: A 45-year-old lecturer, Samson Philip, has allegedly committed su!cide in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. Samson was found d3ad with a rope around his neck on Tuesday morning, May 13, 2025. According to reports, a bottle of an unknown substance was found near his lifeless body.


The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his d3ath. Until his untimely d3ath, Samson was a lecturer at the Taraba State College of Health Technology, Takum. He was laid to rest at Bete in Takum the same day. A pharmacist, Henry Kasimu, who shared photos from the burial, said the deceased took the drastic step for unknown reasons.


“Earlier today, we were at Bete in Takum LGA to bid Samson Philip farewell,” he wrote. Samson committed suicide for reasons best known to him and God. People were speculating possible reasons and all were MAY BE, only God and Samson knew the REAL BE.
