As a doctor, I have never come across a kick on the chest from a man as old as the one in this picture below that resulted in coma, intubation, ventilation and Intensive Care Unit admission.


Though nothing is impossible in medicine, this is highly unlikely. 2. Attached was some comments from her doctor/physician. 3. According to medical records, she had a throat cancer. Throat cancer refers to a cancer of the throat, either in the pharynx or in the voice box (also known as the larynx).


4. The larynx houses the vocal cords. Vocal cord cancers are not uncommon in singers. So I won't be surprised to see a singer who has a vocal cord cancer. She was a singer. 5. Indeed, vocal cord cancer can spread to the brain leading to coma and Intensive Care Unit admission with intubation to protect the airways and ventilation to keep oxygenation going.


6. Yes, vocal cord cancer which has spread (metastasized) cannot be cured and would eventually lead to the death of the affected person.
