Emeka Obilor worthy of their Meritorious Honour award of “God's Builder”, as Nehemiah of Our Time was bestowed on him. The Meritorious Honour Award was presented by His Lordship, Bishop Chamberlain Oguledo, Bishop of Mbaise Diocese. The God's Builder award which was bestowed on the Umueze born Philanthropist Ezinwa.


Emeka Obilor on Sunday 30th March, 2025 during their Nation wide Women's day celebration, witnessed a high ovation and commendation from the Diocese and the general people of Mbutu who affirmed his credibility for the prestigious “God's Builder” award.


Recall that Hon Emeka Obilor single handedly built the St Peters Anglican church Umueze Mbutu, and since then, he has continued to reach out to churches in and outside his community which aimed at populating the kingdom of God. Just as he is eager to build the church of God, IYIATATA has continued to be an advocate for human capital development.


Hon. Emeka Obilor who was represented by his elder brother, Mr Osundu Obilor, thanked his people and Mbaise Diocese of Anglican Communion for finding him worthy for the award. Emeka Obilor through his representative, promised to continue building in the vein yard of God that earned him the award as he assured his continuous support to the church and humanity.


An observer of the event, Amb. Njoku Uchechukwu Bright who spoke to Whitepaper Newspaper, noted that the recipient, Hon Emeka Obilor is worthy of an exemplary character with a honest life style which has continued to stand him out.
