Rema once called Tekno a LEGEND because he made Afrobeats artists like Asake, CKay, Rema, and Omah Lay Believe that they could easily become global stars—something that once took icons like D’Banj decades to achieve.

But luckily, he survived. In 2023, Tekno made a huge comeback, after teaming up with Kizz Daniel to release “Buga”, a song that took Kizz Daniel's career by storm.
